Fixed me up nicely after I got stabbed near Sainsbury's
I have used the MIU a few times since moving to Sherborne and I am so very grateful to have such an amazing service on hand. The ladies of the MIU have provided excellent service, going above and beyond their duties of care - including seeing me after the unit had closed for the day. First rate service by compassionate professionals, I would encourage anyone to utilise the service. I felt the standard of care I received, was unhurried, thorough and the aftercare advice was invaluable. If I was able, I would award them 10/5 stars!!
Wonderful staff offering a great service. Lucky to have it. Casualty department staff offer truly excellent care and there is a brand new x-ray department that had just opened after an extensive upgrade. Ward staff always caring, polite and helpful. Very grateful to them for everything they've done over the years.
I have been to the hospital several times, for different things , the staff have always been friendly and helpful and on several occasions I have been seen and left before my appointment time . Yes parking is very limited and not a good system and near by street parking almost non existant but Sherborne has several public car parks one of which is a few minutes walk from the hospital.
A really positive experience. I had an X-ray followed by an Ultrasound. The team were friendly, efficient and thorough. I am SO grateful for these good hard working souls, dedicated to helping others. Yes it is an Old building, BUT it is still providing the best care. We are VERY fortunate to still have an NHS.
