I have just spent three nights B&B at Clare Cottage and it was - quite simply - a real haven - elegant, friendly but with a goodly touch of luxury, comfortable, welcoming, great breakfast, charming host, in the centre of the town - nothing left to chance. I rate it as excellent in every way and I think anyone who wants to visit Sherborne or the surrounds could not find a better b&b.
I have just returned home having stayed at Clare Cottage. For many years I have travelled around the country to work and have stayed at a number of B and Bs. Staying with Susie was a joy. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness was outstanding. My husband and I felt as though we had come to stay with a longstanding friend. Our room was extremely comfortable and attractive. All the communication with Susie was relaxed yet professional. Our breakfast was delicious and we very much enjoyed the opportunity of sharing the table with the other guests. We would highly recommend Clare Cottage and would most definitely stay there again when next in Sherborne.
