I've just started working in the area, popped in for a coffee, menu looks good, baking smells great and the staff are really friendly.
A lovely little cafe serving good tea and coffee
First visit on a very hot sunny day, all tables taken in the shade including one with a member of staff sat in the shade on her phone with a bottle of water. Sat down eventually in the shade when a table became available, waited for service, went in to order eventually, then had to go in again to ask for the table to be cleared. We ordered a hot chocolate and an elderflower water. The cup of hot chocolate was placed on the table with no saucer or mat and was tasteless. The elderflower water was served in it's can because they had no glasses. I was offered a cup but refused. The two young people serving obviously had received no training whatsoever we assumed the young lady sat outside was on her break but we would have expected her to give up her shady outdoor seat for paying customers at the very least.This was our first visit but will most certainly be our last.
